There are several options when it comes to training during the cold winter months. Some people encourage training in the weather to increase your accuracy in less than desirable conditions. However, aside from braving the weather to train outside, or to go to an indoor shooting range, there are other alternatives for getting your trigger time in. Laserlyte offers a huge variety of training systems that you can utilize all in the comfort of your own home. They have the Laserlyte training targets that can show your shot placement, or targets that have a built in shot timer to perfect your quick draw and accuracy. They have targets that you can hang on the wall that will 'ping' like a traditional steel target, and they even have targets that are like my personal favorite that can either be like a set of 3 plinking cans that actually fall over when shot, or their new and improved version that 'rumbles' when it is hit and rotates to challenge your next shot! Laserlyte offers the ability to either train with a 'training pistol' or you can order the 'Universal Laser Trainer' and place it in your personal firearm to get the practice in without having even fired a shot!
Another option that I am growing even more fond of is the MantisX Training system. Watch it in action here https://youtu.be/njgAvFOAtBQ
This system is great because it gives you real time critique on exactly what you're doing wrong, and examples on how you can improve it! It is specific and detailed and I love it! To test one out for yourself, stop by the store and check out our display!
These are just a couple of things you can do to train when it's cold out... What do you like to do to train when the weather isn't 'ideal'? Give us your suggestions!
