CLASS 3 TRANSFERS
Springs Armory is proud to have a Powered By Silencer Shop Kiosk in the store to make your NFA Silencer purchase fast and easy!
We will gladly accept your NFA transfers and assist with the filing process. Our NFA transfer fee is $50 per item (you are responsible for the tax stamp and/or filing fees).
If you need a copy of our SOT sent to the seller/sender, please email us with the seller/senders email, your name, order number & phone number.
After your purchase, the NFA item will need to have permission to travel to us via a Form 3. It can take up to 2 weeks for the Form 3 approval, so please be patient.
Upon receipt of your NFA item we will give you a call to see which vehicle you are using to file your Form 1 or 4 (paper or electronic), you will have 14 days from us actually receiving your item to have your Form 1 or Form 4 submitted or there will be a $1 per day per item fee.
With the convenience of having a SilencerShop kiosk in house, gathering the required data is a quick process. We'll even help with the photo. IF you elect to use SilencerShop for your Form filing, its a quick action to attach the serial number to your account, and the process begins.

*BIPARTISAN BUDGET BILL UPDATE*
With the recently passed legislation eliminating the $200.00 federal tax stamp for suppressors beginning January 1, 2026, we know many customers are eager to start shopping now, but prefer to wait until 2026 to submit their NFA paperwork.
While our storage space is limited, Springs Armory is committed to supporting our customers through this transition. Because we are close enough to the new year, we will securely hold any NFA item purchased FROM US - AT NO ADDITIONAL STORAGE COST - between now and January 1, 2026.
For NFA items being transferred, if you are wanting to opt out of not paying the $200 Tax stamp, please reach out to the FFL you are purchasing from to request them to hold the item until late December 2025 before shipping the NFA item to us. All NFA items transferred to us before End of Year will be attached to your Silencer Shop account immediately with the anticipation that you will be paying the $200.00 tax stamp.
If you are purchasing directly from SilencerShop this is not applicable as SilencerShop will hold your purchase until the beginning of next year if you opt out of paying the Tax Stamp.
After January 1, 2026, our standard guidelines for incoming transfers will still apply..
STANDARD GUIDELINES:
Upon receipt of your NFA item we will give you a call to see which vehicle you are using to file your Form 1 or 4 (paper or electronic), you will have 14 days from us actually receiving your item to have your Form 1 or Form 4 submitted or there will be a $1 per day per item fee.
Once a suppressor has been approved by ATF, you have 30 days to pickup or you WILL accrue storage fees at a rate of $5 per day, again we are limited in space and don't have the staff to continually check on your pick up status, please reach out if you need to discuss other arrangements. After 90 days of no contact we will consider your item abandoned and the Form 4 will be voided with the ATF with NO refund due to you. By sending us your suppressor or purchasing one from us you are agreeing to these terms.
